Here's some Font for thought

I was browsing through my delicious network ( a very clever way of finding inspiration, as well as a way of indicating how much online research you are doing) when I came across a forum posting on Fonts for children's books. There are some interesting suggestions and it's worth trying out some of the fonts. Don't buy any, Uni may have them, or you may find alternative sources. Anyway, here is the link:

A rough watercolour illustration.

This is only a rough and I plan to make a version ten times better with a different composition. Using referencing from actual photographs. This was a little experiment using the technique under painting. I always struggle trying to get the same tones through the shading process giving a crapping uneven effect. This seems to be working better, but we'll see how well when I try in on a bigger scale with more object and detail.
